Love Spells Detroit Concert reviews
Incredible show!
Love Spells finally took the stage, once they rocked the house! The set change was RIDICULOUSLY long, but one can only assume that the lengthy set change was due to the size and set-up of the venue. The Dear Hunter carries a MUCH heavier sound live than their albums let on, but that only made me like the band that much more. I think I counted six guys on stage, some of which switched instruments and sang throughout the performance. All in all this was an amazing show! Well worth suffering through the maniacally hot, crowded venue. The Dear Hunter started off the show with hit from their most recent album Act III: Life and Death. I felt there set was entirely too short for how incredible they are live. I found the set list to be a good range of their best songs.
